As you know i’m quite partial to the odd pastel shade. In an earlier post I looked at how to decorate with pastels in the winter months. So when I saw this collection of soft-hued fabrics from St Judes I had to share. Perfect for accessorising a simple white room scheme, the range of fabrics, cushions and wallpapers have cleverly combined soft, sorbet shades with graphic patterns to create a pleasing, retro feel.

I love the way the cushions have been teamed with a classic wooden Ercol-style sofa and chair and placed against whitewashed walls for a crisp, clean feel. The snowflake pattern in particular reminds me of a festive Nordic knit but the cheerful blue, yellow and pink colourways mean they can be used all year round. It’s a simple and easy way of adding bold colour to a white room scheme.
